Ppreviously called Flying Matchstick Men, Matchsticks released their
debut single and album on Too Many Fireworks
Records before signing to One Records/Sony BMG in 2006. "Duvet"
and "All Yr Secrets" were realeased as singles while the
band worked on a new album and toured extensively, supporting bands
such as Sleater-Kinney and The Human League. Unfortunately Matchsticks
split in Feburary 2006, however frontman Graham Peel and Retrograde
Media's Gavin Thomson, the band's bassist, are both involved with
new projects.
Website design and build
Retrograde Media designed and built two websites for Matchsticks,
as well as providing hosting for the band. A third site was also in
development at the time of their split.
